I’m always aware of the fact that if I was just a writer, or just a filmmaker or just an artist, I’d probably have a little more of a real ‘career’ in a way. You can’t totally be taken seriously within each medium when you do multiple things… but it seems like not a bad price to pay for getting to live this life that’s more interesting to me.
